About us
Established in 2012, Al-Hamida Foundation has been working across rural Sylhet, supporting communities through both emergency relief and long-term development projects. Our work includes building tube wells, supporting small businesses, helping rebuild homes, funding community initiatives, sponsoring madrasah children and orphans, providing medical assistance, and distributing zakat to those most in need. Al-Hamida Foundation is run entirely by volunteers, ensuring that every donation goes directly towards helping those who need it most.

Distributing zakat to the needy
Distribute zakat carefully to eligible recipients in our community, with transparency and care.
Community project
Fund shared spaces and local improvements that strengthen neighbourhoods across Sylhet, such as a gate for Madrasah.
Health and medical assistance
Help cover treatment, medicine, and urgent medical needs for patients who cannot afford care.
House building
Rebuild safe, simple homes for families who lost shelter to disaster, poverty, or hardship.
Sponsor a madrasah child / orphan
Support education, care, and stability for orphans and children studying in local madrasahs.
